Nemazy Care provides care at home for people in and around Doncaster. We keep what we offer straightforward: reliable, respectful help in the place where somebody already lives, for as much or as little of the day as they need. Most of our work is with older people. We help with washing and dressing, prompting and support with medication, meals and drinks, laundry, shopping and keeping the home comfortable. We also help people get out, whether to an appointment, to the shops or simply for some air and a change of scene, and we make time for the conversation that goes with it rather than treating a visit as a list to be got through. We support people with a physical disability who need help to move safely and manage at home as independently as they can, and we support younger adults, arranging visits around work, study and family life rather than around our own rota. Keeping the same care workers going to the same households matters to us, because familiarity means somebody notices when things are not quite right. Care is arranged after a proper conversation with the person and, where they want it, their family, and reviewed as needs change.
