About Us

Tapera Healthcare Nottinghamshire supports people in their own homes across Nottingham and the surrounding county. What a younger adult in recovery needs from us bears little resemblance to what an older person living with dementia needs, and the only way to get either right is to start from the individual. So we ask, we write down what was agreed in plain language, and we change it when life changes.

The practical work covers personal care, medication, meals, shopping, laundry and housework, help to get to appointments and to stay connected with other people. Where somebody is managing a mental health condition, an eating disorder or a problem with alcohol or drugs, the manner of a visit counts as much as its content, and we offer reliability without judgement while working alongside the specialist teams involved.

We keep the same carers going into the same households and keep rounds local so calls arrive when they should.
