About Us

At Stay Independent at Home Scarborough, we support people across Scarborough and the surrounding areas of North Yorkshire to live well in the place that matters most to them: their own home. We work with older adults, younger adults, and people living with dementia, mental health conditions, physical disabilities, and visual or hearing impairments, and we take the time to understand what each person genuinely needs rather than offering a one size fits all approach.

We know that inviting a care worker into your home is a big decision, and we do not take that trust lightly. Our team works hard to build consistent, honest relationships with the people we support and their families. That means turning up when we say we will, listening when something changes, and adjusting the support we provide accordingly. Care at home works best when it feels like a partnership, and that is exactly what we aim for.

Our most recent Care Quality Commission inspection rated us as Good, which reflects the effort our whole team puts in every day. We are proud of that rating, but we are equally focused on what comes next and how we can keep improving the experience for everyone we work with.

Whether someone needs a little help around the house, support with personal care, companionship, or more complex assistance, we will work with them and their loved ones to put the right plan in place. Staying independent does not always mean doing everything alone. Sometimes it simply means having the right support in the background so that life can carry on as normally as possible.

If you are looking for home care in Scarborough or North Yorkshire, we would be glad to have a conversation about how we might be able to help.
