About Us
We provide intermediate care and support in people's own homes across Hambleton and Richmondshire, working from Northallerton. A great deal of our work is about helping somebody regain what they can after illness, injury or a spell in hospital, so that home remains a realistic place to be.
We support older adults who need help with personal care, medication, meals and getting safely about the house, and people living with dementia, where familiarity and an unhurried manner do more good than anything else. We work with people living with mental health conditions, where a steady relationship and early attention to changes count for most, and with people who have physical disabilities, where our focus is often on regaining mobility and confidence rather than simply doing things for somebody. We support people with a visual or hearing impairment, adapting how we communicate, and younger adults, whose support is planned around work, study, family and independence.
Where somebody is working towards doing more for themselves, we plan support that steps back as they step forward, and we treat that as the point of the work.
Our most recent overall rating from the Care Quality Commission is good. Please get in touch and ask us anything you need to know.
