Where somebody's life changed suddenly rather than gradually, we try to remember they have not reached the end of anything. There are plans, relationships and opinions, and the worst thing a care arrangement can do is quietly treat somebody as a patient whose life is now their care. We have not yet been given an overall rating by the Care Quality Commission, and we would rather state that openly. Families are welcome to ask how we recruit, train and supervise our staff, and to meet them beforehand.
