About Us

We are Living Ambitions in North East Lincolnshire, supporting people in their own homes across Grimsby and the surrounding area. We work with older people and younger adults, people living with dementia or a mental health condition, people with a learning disability or autism, people with a physical disability, and people with a visual or hearing impairment.

Supporting somebody in their own home is about making their life work on their terms. That might mean support to cook, manage money, use the bus, hold down a job or a course, keep a tenancy going and stay connected to the people who matter. It might equally mean steady help with personal care and daily routines. Usually it is some combination, and the balance shifts as somebody gains confidence.

We pay close attention to communication. A good many of the people we support do not rely on speech, and getting that right is the difference between somebody directing their own support and somebody having it done to them.

We keep teams small and consistent, because people should not have to explain themselves to a new face each week.
