About Us

We provide care at home in Grimsby and the surrounding area. The people we support include older people and younger adults, people living with dementia, adults with learning disabilities, autistic people, people with mental health conditions, people with physical disabilities, people with visual or hearing impairments, people living with eating disorders and people whose difficulties involve alcohol or drugs.

That is a wide range of need, and it only works if we ask before we plan. For an older person, help often centres on personal care, medication, meals and keeping the house manageable. For a younger adult it is more likely to be about independence: running a home, getting to work or college, handling money and keeping appointments. For somebody dealing with substance use or an eating disorder, what helps most is usually staff who are steady, do not moralise and keep turning up when they said they would.

Continuity is therefore the heart of this work rather than a detail of it. We try to send the same staff to the same people, because trust is slow to build and quickly undone, and a worker who knows somebody notices early when things are slipping.
