About Rapid Care
We are a home care agency in Gillingham, supporting people in their own homes across Medway and the surrounding area. We visit older people, including many living with dementia, people with physical disabilities, people living with sight or hearing loss, and younger adults who need support with daily life. Most people would far rather stay where they are, and whether that works usually comes down to practical detail. Somebody unsteady on their feet may need help at the beginning and end of the day. Somebody living with dementia often needs prompting, company and a routine that holds its shape more than they need jobs done for them. Somebody just home from hospital may need a good deal at first and much less within a month. We set the support where it is genuinely needed and we are willing to reduce it when it is no longer required. Continuity is the part of this work people notice most. Being met by somebody you know, who remembers what you said last week, counts for a great deal when much else feels uncertain. It is also what lets a carer see that today is not like other days. We would rather be honest at the start than take on work we cannot do well, so if another agency would suit you better we will say so. If you are thinking about support at home for yourself or a relative, please ring us.
