About Us

SureCare Charnwood and Rushcliffe provides home care to adults in Loughborough and the surrounding part of Leicestershire. We support older people and younger adults, people living with dementia, adults with learning disabilities and autism, people with physical disabilities, and people who have sight or hearing loss.

Our starting point is that the person is at home and intends to stay there, so our work has to fit the household rather than reorganise it. Visits can cover help with washing and dressing, medicines, cooking and eating well, laundry, tidying and shopping, and support to get out to appointments, groups, work or college and simply to see people.

Two things matter most to the people we support. The first is knowing who is coming and roughly when, so we keep the team around each person small and tell you promptly when it has to change. The second is being treated as an adult in your own home, which sounds obvious but is easily lost in a busy visit, so we ask before we act and we do not do for people what they would rather do themselves.
