We are SureCare covering Preston and South Ribble, Fylde and Wyre, supporting people in their own homes across that area of Lancashire. We work with older people and people living with dementia, adults with a learning disability and autistic adults, people managing a mental health condition, people with a physical disability or a visual or hearing impairment, and younger adults who need support to live independently. The area we cover includes busy towns and a good deal of open country, and we plan our rounds with that in mind. Realistic travel time means visits are not cut short to make up a schedule, and we would rather turn down a package than take one on and deliver it badly. Support ranges from a single daily call to several visits covering personal care, medication, meals, laundry and help getting out. Wherever somebody can still do something for themselves, we support them to carry on rather than taking it over. We keep the same carers with the same households as far as possible. It is better care, and it is what lets someone mention the thing they would not raise with a stranger. Our staff are trained for the work they do and supervised properly.
