About Us
All Aspects Health and Social Care supports people in their own homes across Preston and the surrounding part of Lancashire. The people we visit cover a broad range. Most are older adults, a good number living with dementia. We also support people with a learning disability, autistic people, people managing a mental health condition, and people with a physical disability. Frequently somebody has more than one of those at once, and it is usually the combination rather than any single thing that makes managing alone stop being possible. We start from the household as we find it rather than from a list of tasks. Who else lives there and how worn out they are. What the person can still do and would be insulted to have taken over. Which part of the day has actually broken down. From that we agree what we will do, write it in plain language, and change it when circumstances change, which they generally do. Visits run from half an hour to most of a day and cover personal care, medicines, meals, housework, shopping, appointments and company. We aim to send the same few workers to each household, because continuity is most of what makes home care tolerable. Our overall rating from the Care Quality Commission is good.
