About Us
We are AAA Healthcare, a home care provider working across Blackpool, Fylde and Wyre from our base in Lytham St. Annes. We support older people and younger adults in their own homes, which is where most people would far rather be.
Home care works when it fits around the life somebody already has. Some of the people we visit need an hour in the morning to get washed, dressed and comfortable for the day. Others want help with shopping, meals, medication or simply a reliable bit of company at a set time each week. A few need several calls a day. We are happy to build any of those, and we are just as happy to change the plan when circumstances change, because they usually do.
We try hard to be predictable. Turning up when we said we would, with a face somebody recognises, matters more than almost anything else we can offer. So we keep our rounds local, we tell people who to expect, and we let them know if we are running late rather than leaving them wondering.
Our carers are also the people most likely to spot when something is wrong. A change in appetite, a new bruise, confusion that was not there last week. We pass those observations on promptly to families and to health professionals, with the person's agreement.
We have not yet received an overall rating from the Care Quality Commission. We are glad to talk openly about how we work and to put you in touch with people who already use us.
