About Us

We provide care at home around Chorley and the surrounding area, supporting older people and younger adults, including people living with dementia, people with mental health conditions, people with physical disabilities and people with visual or hearing impairments.

Much of our work is with people living in their own flats and houses who need a hand to carry on doing so comfortably. That may be help with washing and dressing, support with medication, a hand with meals and the house, assistance to move about safely, or the kind of regular contact that means somebody is never left to cope alone with a difficult day. Because we see people where they already live, we notice things no assessment would record: that the post has not been opened, that somebody is eating less, that a person who usually chats has gone quiet.

We take continuity seriously. The same familiar staff visiting means somebody does not have to keep explaining themselves, and it means we notice early when a person is unwell, in pain or low in spirits.

Our staff are trained for the needs they are asked to meet and have senior colleagues they can turn to. We do not yet hold an overall rating from the Care Quality Commission and are glad to discuss that openly.
