About Us
Dav Mak Care Solutions provides support at home to adults in Chorley and the surrounding part of Lancashire.
We visit older people who need help to carry on living in their own houses, adults living with dementia, people with physical disabilities and younger adults who need support to live independently.
Our visits cover personal care given without rushing, prompting and support with medication, preparing meals, help with laundry, shopping and keeping the home in order, and getting out to appointments or simply out for some air and company.
For people living with dementia, staying at home is often the one thing keeping them settled, and that makes continuity essential rather than merely desirable. The same carers arriving at the same times will do more good than anything else we could offer, so we plan rotas around that rather than around convenience.
For people with a physical disability we pay attention to equipment, moving and handling done properly, and above all to allowing enough time, since rushing is where both dignity and safety go.
We are guests in the homes we work in, and our staff are expected to behave that way and to be straight with us when something has changed.
