About Us
We are Helping Hands covering Esher and the surrounding area, working out of Chessington and supporting people in their own homes across this part of Surrey and south west London. We work with older people and younger adults, people living with dementia, and people with a physical disability.
The point of care at home is that life carries on where it already is. Nobody has to pack up a house, leave a garden or learn a new neighbourhood. Our job is to fit around the household rather than reorganise it, so we begin by asking how things already run and build the support to match.
Visits cover personal care, support with medication, meals and drinks, help around the house and with shopping, and support to get out to appointments or simply for a change of air. Some people want half an hour each morning. Others need several calls a day, and the right amount often changes over time.
