About Everycare West
Everycare West Kent provides care in people's own homes in Tunbridge Wells and the surrounding towns and villages. We support older people, younger adults, people living with dementia, people managing mental health conditions, people with physical disabilities and people living with sight or hearing loss. Most people come to us because something has changed. A fall, a hospital stay, a diagnosis, or simply the slow realisation that the things that used to be easy are no longer easy. Our job is to put enough support in place that home remains the sensible option, without taking over more of somebody's life than is necessary. We are as interested in what a person can still do as in what they cannot. Visits are arranged around the person's own routine. They may cover help to get up, wash and dress, support with medication, meals and drinks, help to move about the house, shopping and household tasks, or accompanying somebody out to appointments and to see friends. We write down what has been agreed so that everyone knows where they stand, and we adjust it as needs change. Our carers are trained for the needs they meet, properly supervised, and matched to people with some thought given to temperament as well as skills. We keep the group of carers around each person small and consistent. If you are weighing up care at home in this part of Kent, please call us. We are happy to talk things through and to be honest about what would help.
