About Us
We provide care at home in Sheerness and across this part of Kent, working with people whose circumstances vary enormously. That variety is deliberate. We would rather take the time to understand one person's situation properly than offer a narrow kind of support and expect people to fit it.
We visit older people who want to stay in their own homes, including those living with dementia, where sending the same familiar carers does more to steady a day than anything else we can do. We support adults with a learning disability and autistic adults, and younger adults who need help to live the life they want rather than the one that happens to be easiest to arrange. We work with people living with mental health needs, with people who have a physical disability, and with people who have a visual or hearing impairment, adjusting how we communicate so nothing important is lost.
We also support people living with an eating disorder and people recovering from problems with alcohol or drugs. That work asks for patience and a complete absence of judgement, and we try to bring both.
