About Us
Here at Livingstone Care Office in Sandwich, Kent, we provide home care support to people living in their own homes across the local area. We work with older adults, people living with dementia, and those managing a physical disability, helping them to maintain their independence and continue living life on their own terms.
We know that inviting someone into your home to provide support is a significant decision, and we do not take that trust lightly. Our team works hard to match people with carers who suit their routines, preferences and personalities, because consistency and familiarity genuinely matter when it comes to feeling comfortable and safe at home.
Our work covers a broad range of support, from help with personal care and daily routines through to companionship and more specialist dementia care. We take time to understand each person as an individual, not just their care needs, and we build support plans around what matters most to them and their families.
We are transparent about where we are as an organisation. Our most recent CQC inspection resulted in a rating of requires improvement, and we have taken that outcome seriously. We have been working through the areas identified and making real changes to how we operate, with a clear focus on improving the experience and safety of every person who uses our support. We believe in being honest about this rather than glossing over it, and we are committed to demonstrating progress through the quality of care we provide every day.
If you are looking for home care support for yourself or a loved one in or around Sandwich, we would welcome the chance to have an honest conversation about how we might be able to help. Please do get in touch with our team to find out more.

Safe
Guidance on what to do if a risk occurred was not consistently recorded, and there was a failure to fully assess and reduce risks for some people. Staff were not always recruited safely. Responsive
