About Us
We at The Garden of England Homecare are proud to provide compassionate home care across Maidstone and the surrounding Kent communities, supporting people to live safely and comfortably in the place they know best: their own home.
Based in the ME postcode area, our team works throughout Maidstone and the wider region, bringing personalised care directly to residents wherever they live. Whether that is a family home in a quiet village, a bungalow in town, or a flat closer to the centre of Maidstone, we adapt our support to fit each individual's environment, routines, and preferences. Home care means keeping the familiar surroundings, treasured possessions, and everyday comforts that make a house feel like home, whilst receiving the professional support needed to thrive.
Our specialisms cover a broad range of needs, allowing us to support a wide community across Kent. We provide older person care and companionship for those who value a friendly, reliable presence in their day. Our dementia care is delivered with patience and understanding, focusing on gentle routines, familiar cues, and the dignity of the person at every stage of their journey. For individuals living with mental health conditions, we offer sensitive, consistent support that promotes wellbeing and independence. We also assist adults with physical disabilities, helping with mobility, personal care, and daily tasks in a way that respects each person's own pace and choices. Our experience with visual and hearing impairment means our carers are mindful communicators, ensuring clarity, reassurance, and safety at every visit. Younger adults with care needs will find a team ready to support active lifestyles, education, work, and social life, rather than simply managing tasks.
In practice, this breadth of experience means families can rely on one trusted provider through changing circumstances. A relative newly diagnosed with dementia, someone recovering from a hospital stay, or a younger adult adjusting to a long term condition can all receive care shaped around their individual story. We take time to listen, to plan carefully with families, and to build the kind of continuity that turns carers into familiar, welcome faces.
The Care Quality Commission has rated us Good overall, with Good ratings across all five domains: Safe, Effective, Caring, Responsive, and Well led. For families, this independent assessment offers real reassurance. It reflects that our practices keep people safe, that the care we deliver achieves positive outcomes, that our team treats every person with kindness and respect, that we respond thoughtfully to individual needs, and that our leadership sets clear, caring standards for the whole team.
Choosing home care is a significant decision, and we understand the questions and emotions that come with it. If you are exploring support for a loved one in Maidstone or elsewhere in Kent, we warmly invite you to get in touch. We are happy to talk through your situation, answer your questions, and help you feel confident about the next step. Whatever your circumstances, you will find a listening ear and a team genuinely committed to caring well.
