About Safe Choice Care

At Safe Choice Care, we provide home care support to people living in Deal and the surrounding areas of Kent. Our work centres on helping individuals remain in their own homes, living as independently as possible, surrounded by the familiar people and places that matter to them. We support older adults, younger adults and people living with dementia or a physical disability. Every person we work with has a different story, different routines and different priorities, so we take time at the outset to understand what good care actually looks like for that individual. That understanding shapes everything we do, from the way we communicate to how we structure each visit. We know that inviting someone into your home, or into the home of someone you love, requires real trust. We do not take that lightly. Our team is trained to provide care that is respectful, consistent and genuinely responsive to changing needs. When something shifts, whether that is a health change, a shift in mood or simply a preference for doing things differently, we want to hear about it and we want to act on it. We are open about where we are as an organisation. Our most recent CQC inspection resulted in a "requires improvement" rating, and we are working seriously and honestly to address the areas identified. We believe that transparency matters in care, and we would rather have an honest conversation with families than offer reassurances that are not yet fully earned. The steps we are taking are practical and ongoing, and we are committed to demonstrating that improvement through the actual experience of the people we support. If you would like to talk about how we might be able to help you or someone close to you, we would welcome that conversation.
