About Clarity Homecare
Clarity Homecare supports people in their own homes in Ashford and the surrounding parts of Kent. We plan our rounds so that people see the same carers, which is what turns care into a relationship and what allows our staff to notice when something has changed. We keep families informed, particularly those living too far away to drop in, and we raise concerns promptly rather than waiting to be asked. Safe
Staff could recognise signs of abuse and take the right action. Care plans set out people's needs, and risks had been identified and assessed. Staff had been recruited safely, arrived on time and wore protective equipment to reduce the risk of infection. Inspectors looked at the service after concerns about staffing and quality of care. They found no evidence that people were at risk of harm from these concerns.
Well-led
The registered manager, manager and staff had an open approach to learning when things went wrong. They reported incidents to CQC and raised safeguarding alerts with the local authority when required. Regular checks and audits were carried out, and action was taken to improve care where needed.
What people told the inspectors
People who spoke with inspectors said the service was safe, had a positive impact on them and was well led. People were complimentary about the management team, and staff said they felt supported in their role.
