About Us
We are a domiciliary care agency based in Ashford, supporting people in their own homes across Kent and Medway. Our work is with adults who have a learning disability, adults on the autistic spectrum, and younger adults, and our aim is to help people live the life they want in the place they have chosen to live it.
That support is practical. It might mean help with personal care, cooking and shopping, managing money and appointments, using local transport, keeping in touch with family and friends, or building the confidence to do more independently over time. Where somebody can do something themselves, our job is to support them to do it rather than to take it over.
Understanding how each person communicates is central to this work, and we invest the time it takes so that decisions genuinely belong to the person making them.
We should be open about our current standing. Our most recent overall rating from the Care Quality Commission is requires improvement. We have accepted those findings and are working through them, with tighter arrangements for planning, recording and reviewing care and for acting quickly when concerns are raised. We would rather tell you that ourselves and let you hold us to the changes we are making.
