About Us
Makarios Healthcare is a home care agency working in Islington and the surrounding parts of London. We support people in their own homes with as much or as little help as they need, from a single call each morning through to several visits a day and support in the evening.
Most of our work is with older people. We help with personal care, medication, meals, laundry, shopping and getting out to appointments or to see friends, and we keep watch on the things that are easy to miss, such as a fading appetite or somebody becoming less steady on their feet. Raising those early often prevents something worse.
For people living with dementia we keep the same care workers visiting where the rota allows, follow the routine the household already has and avoid rearranging a home somebody knows well.
