About Us
ARN Care provides home care to people in Hayes and across Hillingdon. We support older people, people living with dementia, autistic adults and adults with a learning disability, people managing mental health conditions including eating disorders, people with a physical disability, people with a visual or hearing impairment, younger adults and people working through difficulties with alcohol or drugs. That breadth means no single way of working will do, so every package is planned individually and we try to be honest about what we are good at. The first conversation takes as long as it needs, with the person and anybody they want present, covering what they still want to do for themselves, what actually makes a day difficult and who to contact when circumstances change. Where someone is living with an eating disorder we are careful about how support around food and mealtimes is offered, because the manner of it can help or do real harm. Where somebody is in recovery we aim to be dependable without being watchful in a way that feels like surveillance.
