About Us
At Nurtured At Home Care, we support people to live well in the comfort of their own homes, right here in Waltham Cross, Hertfordshire. We believe that with the right support around them, most people can continue to enjoy the life they know, surrounded by familiar faces, familiar places and the routines that matter to them.
We work with older adults, younger adults living with physical disabilities, and people affected by dementia. Each person we support has their own story, their own preferences and their own way of doing things, and we take time at the outset to properly understand what good care looks like for them as an individual. That means listening not just to the person themselves but to the people who know and love them too.
Dementia care is an area we take particularly seriously. We know how unsettling change can be for someone living with dementia, so we focus on consistency, calm and familiarity in everything we do. The same faces turning up at agreed times, following a routine that feels natural to the person, can make an enormous difference to their sense of security and wellbeing.
For those living with a physical disability, whether older or younger, we provide practical, hands on support that promotes independence wherever possible. Our aim is never to do things for people that they can do themselves, but to be there when a helping hand genuinely makes life easier and safer.
We are registered with the Care Quality Commission and work within the standards expected of a regulated home care provider. We are committed to being open and honest with the people we support and their families at all times.
