About Mobile Care

Mobile Care provides support to people in their own homes across Hereford and the surrounding county. This is a largely rural area and that shapes how we work. Distances are real and some of the people we visit see very few others in a week, so we plan rotas with travel built in rather than taken out of anyone's time, and we treat conversation as part of a visit rather than an extra. We support older people and those living with dementia, where familiar carers and a steady routine matter more than anything else we could offer. We work with adults living with mental health needs, watching for early changes and keeping contact regular. We support people living with a physical disability, where equipment, layout and practical detail usually decide how much someone can do for themselves, and we work with younger adults whose support has to fit around work, study and friends. We also support people recovering from problems with alcohol or drugs, where reliability, routine and an absence of judgement do more good than advice. Every package starts with a proper assessment and a straightforward conversation about what we can realistically provide. Our most recent overall rating from the Care Quality Commission was good. If you are considering care at home in this area, please get in touch and we will arrange to come out and see you.
