Visits cover personal care, medication, meals and drinks, housework and laundry, shopping, getting to appointments, and company for people whose days have grown quiet. For people living with dementia we keep the same small team visiting and work at their pace. Where somebody is managing a mental health condition we keep support consistent and work alongside their community team. Where sight or hearing is affected we think about how we announce ourselves and explain what we are doing. We would much rather hear early that something is not working than find out later.
