About Us
We are Dimensions South Hampshire, a home care agency based in New Milton. We support younger adults in their own homes, including adults with learning disabilities and autistic adults.
The people we support are adults with lives to lead rather than conditions to be managed. They have work or study or plans, friendships, things they want to do independently and things they need a hand with, and support that treats them as passive gets in the way of all of it. So we start from what the person is trying to achieve and fit the support around that.
Predictability matters a great deal in this work. Saying what will happen and when, and then being right about it, does more than reassurance. We adapt how we communicate to the person rather than expecting them to adapt to us, and we keep the same workers with the same people wherever the rota allows.
