About In Home Care
In Home Care Basingstoke is a home care agency supporting people in their own homes across Basingstoke and the surrounding part of Hampshire. We work with older people and younger adults, with people living with dementia, with people who have a learning disability, with autistic people, with people who have mental health needs and with people who have physical disabilities. With needs that varied, we plan support one person at a time rather than offering a fixed package. We begin by listening to the person and anyone they want present, work out what the day and the week actually need to look like, and write the plan around that. It may be a brief daily call, support with personal care, medication, meals and mobility, help with household tasks and shopping, or support to get out and keep up work, study or an activity that matters. Plans are reviewed when circumstances change, and we ask clients and families to tell us plainly when something is not working. We keep the same small team visiting each person wherever we can, and our carers are trained for the particular needs of the people they see. We do not yet hold an overall rating from the Care Quality Commission. We are registered with and regulated by them, and we are building the care planning, training and oversight that a good rating properly requires.
