About Us
Lornat Healthcare at Hill View House provides support at home for people living in Greenwich and the surrounding parts of south east London. We work in the homes people already know, on the basis that our job is to fit around an established life rather than to reorganise it.
We visit older people who need help with washing, dressing, medication, meals and keeping a household going, and we support people living with dementia, where a familiar carer arriving at a familiar hour steadies a day more effectively than anything else we could offer. We also work with adults who have a learning disability or who are autistic, people with physical disabilities, those with a visual or hearing impairment and younger adults who want to live independently with reliable support behind them.
Every arrangement starts with an unhurried conversation at home, with family involved where that is wanted. We ask what somebody still wants to do for themselves, where help would genuinely be welcome and what we should leave alone. What we agree goes in writing plainly, and we revisit it honestly when things change.
