About Us
We provide care at home in Greenwich and the surrounding parts of London. Those we support include older adults, people living with dementia, adults with learning disabilities and autistic adults, people managing mental health conditions, people with physical disabilities, and younger adults.
Support here is assembled around the individual. We spend the time on that at the outset because it is much harder to correct a plan than to write a good one.
We put a good deal of effort into training and supervising our carers properly rather than assuming competence. Skill matters and so does manner. A carer can complete every task on a plan and still leave somebody feeling managed rather than helped, and that difference is the job rather than a detail.
Where somebody has a faith or a cultural practice that shapes their day, we build the support around it rather than fitting it in afterwards.
We have not yet been given an overall rating by the Care Quality Commission, and we would rather state that plainly. Until then, families are welcome to ask how we recruit, train and check the carers we send, and to meet them before any care begins.
