About Divine Care And Services

Divine Care supports adults in their own homes across Greenwich and the wider London area. The people we visit include older adults and younger adults, people living with dementia, people with a learning disability, autistic people, people with mental health needs, people living with a physical disability, and people with sight or hearing loss. We think care at home should be built one household at a time. Two people with the same diagnosis can need entirely different things, so we start with a conversation rather than a form, and we invite whoever the person wants in the room. From that we agree a pattern of visits that is honest about what we can keep to, because a schedule that gets missed is worse than one that was modest to begin with. Our support covers personal care, medication, meals, laundry and housework, shopping, and getting out to appointments, clubs, work or study. Where somebody communicates differently, we learn their way of doing it before we do anything else. London is large and impersonal enough already. We plan our rotas so that people see faces they recognise, and we brief anybody new before they arrive rather than sending them in unprepared. We have not yet been given an overall rating by the Care Quality Commission, so please ask us direct questions and speak to the people we already support.
