About Us
Alina Homecare Cheltenham and Cotswolds supports people in their own homes across Gloucestershire, working out of Gloucester. We visit older people, adults living with dementia, autistic adults and people with a learning disability, people with physical disabilities and younger adults.
Good care at home begins with a proper conversation rather than an assessment form. We ask what somebody can manage, what has become difficult, what they would like to be doing and what they would rather we left alone. From that we agree a plan, write it down plainly and change it when circumstances change instead of leaving it to age on a shelf.
The work ranges from a single call to help the morning go smoothly through to several longer visits a day, and for some people support to get out to work, college or the shops. We keep our rounds tight across Cheltenham, Gloucester and the Cotswold villages so that calls run to time and people see faces they know. Where a regular carer is away, we say so in advance.
Our carers are trained before they work alone, supervised in people's homes and expected to flag anything that worries them the same day. Our office is there to be rung.
