About Adelfi Care Services

We provide care at home in Cheltenham and the surrounding area, supporting older people and younger adults, including people living with dementia, people with physical disabilities and people with loss of sight or hearing. Our part in that is practical: visits at the times that suit, help with washing and dressing, support with medication, a hand with meals, shopping and housework, assistance to move about safely, and company for somebody who spends too much of the week alone. For people living with dementia, a familiar and unhurried visit does more good than anything written in a care plan, and where sight or hearing is poor, small habits matter: saying who you are on coming in and leaving things where they were put. Our carers are trained for the needs they are asked to meet and can reach senior colleagues for advice. Our most recent inspection by the Care Quality Commission rated us good overall.
