About Consider Care
We provide care at home for people in Cirencester and the surrounding Gloucestershire villages. Our support is arranged around the household rather than imposed on it, and it ranges from a short visit once a day to substantial help spread right across the week. We support older people, including people living with dementia, and younger adults. That includes people with physical disabilities, people with sight or hearing loss, and people managing a mental health condition, for whom the reliability of a visit can matter as much as what happens during it. The practical work is familiar enough. Personal care, medication, meals, shopping, laundry, appointments, and lifts to the places people would otherwise stop going. Rural life brings its own difficulties as people grow older, particularly when the bus is infrequent and family live at a distance. We plan our visits with that firmly in mind. We are registered with the Care Quality Commission and do not yet hold an overall rating.
