About Us

Violet Care Agency provides care and support in people's own homes in Harlow and the surrounding parts of Essex. Our work is built around the life somebody already has, and the aim is to support it rather than reorganise it for our convenience.

We support older adults who need help with personal care, medication, meals or getting safely about the house, and people living with dementia, where familiarity and an unhurried manner are worth more than anything else we could offer. We work with adults who have a learning disability or autism, where the point is to build confidence and skills at the individual's own pace, and with people living with mental health conditions, where a steady relationship and early attention to changes make the greatest difference. We support people with physical disabilities and people with a visual or hearing impairment, adapting how we assist and how we communicate so that nobody is spoken about rather than spoken to, and we support younger adults, whose care is planned around work, study, family and independence.

We keep the team around each person as small and consistent as the rota allows, because trust is built through familiarity.
