About Us

Carerose Cares provides care at home for people across Colchester and the surrounding parts of Essex. We work on a simple principle: support should fit into somebody's life quietly, at the times it is needed, and leave everything else exactly as they like it.

We visit older people who need help with personal care, medication, meals, mobility or the general running of the day. We support people living with dementia at home, where familiar rooms and familiar routines are a genuine help. We also work with people managing mental health conditions, people living with a physical disability, people with sight or hearing loss, and younger adults who want support that keeps them independent rather than support that takes over.

Before anything starts we sit down with the person and, if they want, their family, and agree what good support would actually look like. Visits are then planned around that. We keep the same carers going to the same households wherever we can, because knowing somebody is what allows a carer to notice a change early.

We are honest about the fact that we do not currently hold an overall rating from the Care Quality Commission.
