About Us

De Vere Care Partnership provides care in people's own homes in Chelmsford and across Essex. We support older people, adults living with dementia, people with a learning disability or autism, adults with a physical disability or a visual or hearing impairment, and younger adults.

Home care works when it fits the person rather than the rota. Some of those we support need a short call in the morning to help with washing, dressing and medication. Others need several visits a day, or longer support that keeps a tenancy going, gets somebody to appointments and helps them stay connected to the people around them. We agree what is genuinely wanted at the outset and review it properly as circumstances change.

Continuity is what makes the difference in this work, so we keep the same small group of carers going to the same person wherever we can. Personal care is easier to accept from somebody you know, and a familiar carer notices quickly when a person is not themselves.
