About Us

Highgate Home Care supports people in their own homes in Bridlington and the surrounding parts of the East Riding. We work with older people and younger adults, including those living with dementia, people managing mental health conditions, and people with a physical disability or a visual or hearing impairment.

We plan support around the person rather than around a standard package. Our first conversation is about what has become difficult, what someone would rather keep doing for themselves, and who else they want involved. The plan that follows is written in plain language and shared, so that every carer who visits knows what matters and why.

Visits may cover personal care, medication, meals, laundry and housework, shopping, or help getting out to appointments and to see people. For some clients the most valuable part of the week is a regular visit from someone who pays attention and has time for a proper conversation.

We keep teams small and consistent, because trust makes personal care easier to accept and because familiar carers notice quickly when something has changed. We plan rounds we can genuinely keep and tell people promptly when anything has to move.
