About Us
White House Home Care provides care and support in people's own homes across Beverley and the surrounding parts of the East Riding of Yorkshire.
We visit older people and younger adults. Support may cover personal care, help with medication, meals, shopping, laundry and household tasks, and for many of the people we see it also means company, routine and someone reliable who notices how they are getting on.
We work with people living with dementia, people managing mental health conditions, people with physical disabilities and people living with sight or hearing loss. Each of those asks something different of us in how we communicate, how we pace a visit and how we plan for the days that are harder than usual, so we learn what suits the individual instead of applying a standard approach.
Care begins with an assessment at home and an honest conversation about what would genuinely help. Some households need a great deal and others need surprisingly little, and it is our job to say which rather than to recommend a bigger package than is warranted. The plan belongs to the person and changes as their needs change.
We keep the same carers with the same people as far as the rota allows, because familiar staff notice small changes early.
