About Us
Profad Care Agency supports people in their own homes across Carlisle and the wider Cumberland area. Care at home should fit around a life that already exists, so we begin by asking what somebody wants to keep doing themselves and where help would actually be welcome.
We visit older people who need support with personal care, medication, meals and the ordinary running of a household, and we support people living with dementia, where a familiar carer arriving at a familiar time can settle an unsettled morning. We also work with adults who have physical disabilities, people with a visual or hearing impairment, younger adults and people managing mental ill health, adapting how we communicate and how we work to the person in front of us.
