About Us
Easton Care provides care and support in people's own homes and in the community across Chester Le Street and the surrounding parts of County Durham.
We work with older people and with younger adults, including adults who have learning disabilities, autistic adults and people with physical disabilities. Support may cover personal care, help with medication, meals, shopping and household tasks, and often the wider business of running a life as well, from appointments and paperwork to getting out and seeing people.
Support is planned with the person rather than for them. We begin by asking what somebody wants their week to look like, what they can already manage, where help genuinely makes a difference and where it would simply get in the way. Those answers become the plan, and we change it as circumstances shift or when the person changes their mind.
For autistic people we pay close attention to communication, predictability and sensory needs, because getting those right at the start prevents most of the difficulties that would otherwise follow.
We keep the same carers with the same people as far as the rota allows, train staff for the needs they will actually meet, and supervise them properly once they are working.
