About Us
Renaissance Personnel provides care at home for people in Hove and Brighton. What we do is straightforward, and we would rather describe it plainly than dress it up: reliable, respectful help in the place where somebody already lives, for as much or as little of the day as they need.
That can mean a short call in the morning to help somebody wash, dress and get the day started safely, support with medication, a proper meal cooked and eaten rather than left in the fridge, laundry and keeping the home comfortable, or help with the shopping. It can also mean several visits a day where more support is needed, or an evening call to settle somebody for the night.
Just as often the useful part of a visit is getting out of the house. A trip to the shops, an appointment kept, or simply some air and a change of scene does more good than most of what we do indoors.
We keep the same care workers going to the same households wherever the rota allows, because familiarity means somebody notices when things are not quite right and the person is not forever explaining themselves to a stranger.
