About Us
TenStone Care and Support provides care in people's own homes in Bracknell and the surrounding area. We work with older people, adults living with mental health conditions and people with physical disabilities. Support at home has to fit around the life that is already there, so we begin with a visit and a proper conversation rather than a standard package. What is difficult now? What has already been tried? What does the person still want to manage themselves? From that we agree a plan in plain language, and we review it whenever circumstances change. Visits might cover personal care, medication, meals, shopping, laundry or simply company and a hand with the practical business of the week. For people living with mental health conditions, what usually helps most is steadiness. Someone who turns up when they said they would, who notices when things are slipping and who does not give up after a difficult patch. For people with physical disabilities, the right equipment and sensible adaptations are often what make independence possible, so we push to get those arranged rather than simply doing more for someone. Our carers are trained before working unsupervised and supported by senior staff who visit, supervise and review.
