About Us
At St Patrick Healthcare, we provide home care support to people living in Poole, Bournemouth and Christchurch. We work with individuals in their own homes, helping them to maintain their independence and live life on their own terms, in familiar surroundings with the people and routines that matter to them.
We support a wide range of people with varying needs. This includes older adults, people living with dementia, younger adults, individuals with a learning disability or autism, those experiencing mental health difficulties, people with a physical disability, and individuals with a visual or hearing impairment. We also have experience supporting people with eating disorders. We understand that no two people are the same, so we take time to get to know each person properly before we begin, building care arrangements around them rather than asking them to fit around us.
Home care done well means being consistent, reliable and genuinely attentive. We know that inviting someone into your home to provide care is a significant decision, and we do not take that trust lightly. Our focus is on building real relationships between our care workers and the people we support, so that visits feel comfortable and familiar rather than transactional.
We work closely with families and other professionals involved in a person's care, and we keep communication open so that everyone feels informed and involved. If needs change over time, we adapt accordingly rather than waiting to be asked.
We are regulated by the Care Quality Commission, which means our practice is subject to independent oversight and we are accountable for the quality of care we provide.
If you would like to find out more about how we might be able to support you or someone you care about, we would be very happy to have a conversation with you.
