About Us
TP Care at Homes supports people in their own homes across Bournemouth, Christchurch and Poole. Our work is with older adults, with people who have a physical disability, and with younger adults. For most of the older people we visit, the whole point of us is that they stay where they are. A familiar house on a familiar street is worth a great deal, and losing it is often feared more than the condition that threatens it. Where a physical disability is involved the work is often about equipment, patience and time. Giving a person the chance to do a thing themselves, slowly, rather than doing it for them because it is quicker. Moving somebody comfortably rather than merely safely. For the younger adults we support, the job is usually to make independence workable rather than to take things over. We start with a conversation and not a form. What can you still manage. What has become difficult. What would you rather we did not touch. From that we agree a plan, write it plainly, and revise it when things change. We have not yet had a full inspection by the Care Quality Commission, so there is no rating to show you. Ring us and judge us on the visit.
