About Us
We are Shalom Health Recruitment, providing care and support to adults in their own homes across Bournemouth, Christchurch and Poole.
We support older people and people living with dementia, adults with learning disabilities or autism, people living with mental health conditions, people with physical disabilities, people with a visual or hearing impairment, and younger adults who want help to live independently. That is a wide range, so we think carefully about who we send to whom, because the skills and the manner that suit one person can be quite wrong for another.
Support might be a single call each morning or several visits through the day, covering personal care, help with medication, meals, housework, shopping and company. We agree the plan with the person and with anyone else they want involved, and we revise it when their life changes rather than at a fixed review date.
We have not yet received an overall rating from the Care Quality Commission. While that is the case, please test us with practical questions: how we recruit and train our workers, who supervises them, what happens when a visit runs late, and who you can reach in the evening or at the weekend.
