About Us

Quality Healthcare Professionals provides home care to adults in Bournemouth and the surrounding area. We support older people and younger adults, people living with dementia, adults with learning disabilities and autism, and people with physical disabilities.

Everything begins with what the person wants their day to look like. From there the support might include help with washing and dressing, medicines, meals, the household and shopping, or it might be about getting out to work, college, appointments and the places somebody likes to go. For younger adults it is frequently about building the practical skills independent living demands, from cooking and budgeting to managing appointments and travelling confidently, and there we count it a success when we are needed less.

We put real effort into continuity. Being helped with personal care by somebody you have never met is a genuinely difficult thing to accept, so we keep the team around each person small and let you know in advance when it has to change. We also write plans in the person's own words rather than as a list of tasks that suits our rota.

Where somebody communicates in their own way, we learn how they do it rather than expecting them to adapt to us.
