About Us

Abitol in Bournemouth is a home care agency supporting adults in their own homes across the area.

The people we work with are a wide mix: older people and younger adults, people living with dementia, people with a physical disability or a sensory impairment, people managing a mental health condition, people living with an eating disorder and people affected by alcohol or drug misuse.

Because that range is broad, we match care workers to people deliberately rather than filling slots on a rota, and we train for the situations they will actually meet. Half an hour of personal care in the morning and a visit that is mostly about structure and a reliable presence through a difficult week are not the same job.
