About Us
Shalom Health Recruitment supports people in their own homes across Dagenham and the surrounding parts of Barking and Dagenham. We work with older people, adults living with dementia, people with a learning disability or autism, those managing a mental health condition or an eating disorder, people with a physical disability, and younger adults.
Because the people we visit are so different from one another, we plan every arrangement individually. We start by meeting the person, and their family if they want that, and asking how they like their day to run, what they manage well themselves and where support would make a real difference. That becomes a written plan in plain language, reviewed as circumstances change.
Visits can cover personal care, medication, meals, household tasks, shopping, appointments and company. Where someone is managing a mental health condition or an eating disorder, we work alongside the health professionals already involved so that our support reinforces their plan rather than cutting across it, and we take care that mealtimes do not become a source of conflict.
We keep teams small so people see familiar faces, train carers for the needs they will actually meet, and make sure families can reach someone.
